What’s your favorite cupcake flavor?

Red Wine. I mean Red Velvet!  That’s embarrassing…

What or whom inspired you to pursue a career in comedy?
My dad used to throw himself into walls, hitting hard and sliding onto the ground, to make me stop crying when I was little. That’s when I learned that comedy definitely cured sadness.

If Chuck Norris were to corner you in an alley and challenge you to a duel, what would be your weapon of choice?

My secret weapon would be Mama Norris. He would be in soooo much trouble!

What are some challenges you’ve faced since going down the comedy track?  What are some things that have made all of those obstacles worth overcoming?
Challenges are everywhere!  No one wants to laugh.  No one!  They would rather be miserable.  More to talk about that way.  They stand around holding their drinks commiserating with each other about why the new girl won’t be that funny.  “Who does she think she is?  She’s gonna make me laugh?  Well I’ll just cross my arms and put on my ‘I-know-comedy-smug-face’ as she tries… oh.  Oh.  She’s funny.  Wait.  She’s a laugh riot.  She makes my sides hurt with happy pains every dang time!”  And that, my friends, is worth it.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever heard/seen?

It’s a tie between this and this.  What?  Animals are funny.  You know it.

Which comedienne, dead or alive, would you love to work with/meet?
Lucille Ball of course.  Man, is she perfect.

In what ways do you think you’ve improved or evolved since your first comedy venture?

I’ve grown a ton since my first grade play.  Back then I thought it was funny to give someone a wet willy, but now I know it’s only funny if someone else sees it.

What long-term/short-term goals do you have for your career?

Dear SNL, I’ll do it.  Stop asking!  You’re waking up the neighbors with your constant calling.  Also, Bridesmaids 2, yes I’ll be your breakout character… geeze.

Which character are you most like from “The Divas”?

The blonde one with the big heart.  Of COURSE.

Do you have a specific audience to whom you play/would like to play? Describe that audience, and why/how you’re playing to them.
My people are the ones who get and love improv, and the ones who like shopping.  I get you, shoppers.

When you’re not out writing/performing comedy, you are… ?

Trying out new bits on unsuspecting friends and family, and raising my new golden-doodle (cutest one ever) Simon.

What’s the difference between appealing to women and appealing to men?
Women are sketched out by comediennes because there is a total chance that we could be mean girls making jokes, and revealing lady secrets…but hey…hey there…we’re not all like that. So come out and give us a chance. Come on. There you go. Women unite!  Men are easy, as they should be, and you know they like it when they laugh.

What’s your favorite comedy movie or TV show of all time?

Overboard starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.  That movie holds UP!  Also “Taxi.” I <3 Danny Devito.

 The title of your autobiography?
“How The Dark (Blonde) Horse Won Hollywood”
