Winter/Spring Internship: Production/Editing Intern
Comediva.com is a freshly launched female comedy site that specializes in hilarious, original video and editorial content. We want you to help us seize comedic world domination as our oh-so-valued slave (okay, okay, intern). Prefer to be a creative genius rather than a coffee wrangler? Sweet! Interested in learning more about all stages of production? Awesome! Hoping to harness your bad ass editing skills? You've found your shangri-la. Interns will have the opportunity to create and edit original video content for our site, learn essential production and postproduction skills, and make connections in the comedy world.
We're looking for interns with the following junk in their trunks:
- A love and desire to learn more about all stages of production
- Experience editing on Final Cut Pro
- Sincere interest in web video content, written web content and comedy
- Remarkable creativity and a unique perspective
- Badass internet research skills
- Verbal skills that would make Oprah jealous
- An affinity for red velvet cupcakes
- A ton of initiative
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Outgoing personality, positive attitude and an awesome sense of humor
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Eligible for academic credit and at least 18 years of age
Production/Editing interns will work out of our Burbank, Calif. offices and report to the V.P. of Production. We're flexible, but ideally interns will work two days a week, between Mon-Fri, during regular business hours (10a - 7p). This is an unpaid internship, for academic credit only.
