Things I Wish I'd Seen at Comic-Con

Expectations versus reality leave us hungry for more Zombie Slave Leias.
Kristen Bobst Created by  Kristen Bobst
On our recent Comediva trek to San Diego, I learned that Comic-Con is, indeed, a festival awash with zealous attendees, many of whom delight in donning elaborate cosplay attire whilst prancing amongst droves of rabid fangirls and boys. It's Mardis Gras for geeks, apparently.

Perhaps it's my overactive imagination or undying love for Ewoks, but I felt that this year's cosplayers - along with the Comic-Con decor committee - could have gone a little further with the nerdy ornamentation. They decked the halls...but they didn't holodeck the halls.  They went all out... but they should have gone all outer-space!

I catalogued my findings and compared them with my ideal Comic-Con visual experience: Here is what I saw versus what I wished I'd seen at Comic-Con 2012.

Must say that #5 Plant was named Audrey II. Seymour was the little nerdy guy who took care of the plant.

    # wasn't gender bending, there was a female Robin. Her name was Stephanie Brown. She was the 4th Robin briefly before becoming Batgirl.

The plant's name is Audrey II. The plant frequently speaks to Seymour, which is how you got them mixed up.
